How Your Donations Help

Patient Assistance Fund

Patient assistance funds can’t cure disease, but they can bring peace of mind. Made up entirely of donations, these funds help ease the burden of patients and their families in the face of a medical crisis. Here are a few of the ways gifts to St. Luke’s Patient Assistance Funds have helped people in our communities:

  • Lodging, food, medications, medical supplies, transportation.
  • An air conditioner for a family who needed to cool their apartment due to their baby’s medical needs.
  • Car repair for the father of a 12-year-old boy with a brain tumor.
  • Utilities for a rural Idaho family whose 5-year old was in long-term cancer treatment at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.
  • New shoes and orthotics for a young man with disabilities so he could walk better.
  1. Improved Access to Health Care Services
  2. Advanced Services and Technology in Rural Communities
