At its virtual general membership meeting on Jan. 28, St. Luke’s McCall’s Auxiliary awarded $45,000 in grants to local organizations.

The Auxiliary awards community grants annually. They are funded entirely by proceeds from the St. Luke’s McCall Auxiliary Thrift Shop.

“It is a gratifying time of year for the Auxiliary and for those who work tirelessly at the Thrift Shop to be able to continue supporting programs that work to improve the health and wellness of our community members,” said Holly Thrash, Auxiliary grant committee chair.

“The amount of donations they process through the Thrift Shop is truly amazing.”

St. Luke’s McCall Auxiliary is dedicated to supporting St. Luke’s McCall Medical Center and improving the health and quality of life of people in our community. Since the grant program was formed in 2002 and the Thrift Shop was opened, the Auxiliary has raised more than $2.9 million to support the purchase of equipment and expansion of the hospital and in support of community health initiatives. The Auxiliary is welcoming new members that would like to share your time, skills and passion to benefit our community. For more information call (208) 634-2088.
