Giving Options

There are many ways you can give to support life-saving technology, patient care, medical research, health education, and specialized services in your community.

Financial Gifts

Whether a cash donation or a planned gift, donations touch lives and strengthen the ability of St. Luke’s to provide high quality healthcare today and well into the future. You can make an unrestricted gift to benefit the most urgent area of need or designate the service or program you would most like to help. Your contribution is tax-deductible for the amount allowed by law.

Planned giving options include bequests or estate gifts, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and gifts from retirement funds. You may also choose to   memorialize a loved one who has passed or honor one still living; or give a gift in honor of a special caregiver that made a difference in your St. Luke's experience.

Generally, financial gifts help support St. Luke’s in three vital areas:

  • Capital Improvements: help us purchase or upgrade critical medical technology and provide modern, advanced facilities.
  • Endowment: support programs and services for future generations by establishing named endowment funds for specific causes or giving to help grow the existing fund.
  • Community Support: You can give to a variety of services that fill vital needs in the community distinct from direct medical support: Help others educate themselves, maintain a healthy lifestyle, cope with loss, maintain dignity in their declining years, and have timely access to quality healthcare.

Your employer may match your gift!

Many employers match all or part of an employee's gift to a charitable cause, helping extend the impact of generosity.

St. Luke's makes it easy for you to see if your provider matches charitable donations.

Other Ways to Give

Whether you serve as a hospital volunteer or an Auxiliary member, join a community board or donate items to your local hospital, your unique contributions are needed and welcome. We'll help connect you to an opportunity that feels right—we think you’ll find that you get back more than you’ll ever give.
